A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid could soon find himself in some hot water with the Spanish football authorities.
This comes amid claims that Antonio Rüdiger was responsible for striking a member of the security setup at Mestalla on Saturday evening.
José Mourinho’s Real are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, eyeing an 8th successive victory in all competitions in a La Liga meeting with Valencia.
As things stand, Los Blancos find themselves headed towards precisely that, leading their hosts by three goals to nil.
And yet, as alluded to above, José Mourinho and his staff could yet have cause for concern upon departing Mestalla later this evening…
As per a report from journalist Nacho Sanchis, amid a heated half-time scuffle between the two sets of players in the tunnel:
‘Antonio Rüdiger slapped a security guard. A slap.’
