According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Bayer Leverkusen is interested in Relebohile Mofokeng of Union St-Gilloise.
The Rhineland club have reportedly already submitted an inquiry and are monitoring the South African star with scouts.
Meanwhile, Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille in France are also interested and even placed Mofokeng on their shortlist of potential future signings.
Belgian outfit St-Gilloise paid €3.5million to the Orlando Pirates last summer after Mofokeng’s successful cameo at the 2026 World Cup.
Since then, the 22-year-old has quickly secured a regular starting position and now boasts five goals and four assists in 15 games.
It’s safe to assume that St-Gilloise will demand a significantly higher fee in any future transfer given he is under contract until 2030.
