Chelsea’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens still on Roma’s radar, January deal being studied

As reported by TUTTOmercastoWEB, Gian Piero Gasperini is maintaining his demand for a wide forward, which could see Roma push for one from Chelsea in January itself.

Roma had been looking for wide forwards all summer but didn’t manage to find a satisfying deal. Negotations with Chelsea for Jamie Gittens went nowhere, while a move for Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling came apart at the end, mostly due to the player’s apparent reluctance.

Now, however, both may be more amenable to a move to the Capitale. Gittens continues to struggle for game time under Xabi Alonso, while reintegration into the Stuttgart setup has been hard for Leweling. Furthermore, Roma have had a sensational start to the season, and it looks like they will be taking the fight to the favourites of each competition they’re in this term.

The Giallorossi have also been linked in Endrick since the summer, but they may face competition for him, with Milan interested, while Real Madrid boss José Mourinho maintains the Brazilian is not to leave the Bernabéu. Frosinone’s Giorgi Kvernadze has also been linked with a move to the Olimpico.
