Team News and Confirmed Lineups

Bayern Munich and Arsenal will go head-to-head in the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena, as both teams look to maintain their unbeaten record in the competition.

Vincent Kompany’s side had been held to consecutive draws against Augsburg and Viking in their last two games before they crushed RB Leipzig with a 6-1 win in the Bundesliga this weekend, keeping them unbeaten in all competitions so far in this campaign. Mikel Arteta’s team, on the other hand, have claimed three consecutive wins and have won both Champions League games this season.

Both teams have some selection headaches heading into the game, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expects the sides to line up.

Arteta Drops Team News Update

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Arteta shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.

“Zubi[mendi] is back with us, so he will be involved tomorrow, and Piero [Hincapie], let’s see if he’s able to train in the next few days as well, he can be available for Everton, which is great news.

“This is good because we have some really good players, the expectations are so big for all of them and we want more from everybody, and that’s the mindset. That’s what is going to make us better individually as a team so I hope that continues because that’s going to push all of us to reach different kinds of levels and be better.”
