Female Interviewer Who Left Manager ‘Fighting For His Life’ Breaks Silence

The Czech TV reporter who left FK Viagem Usti nad Labem boss David Olehla ‘fighting for his life’ this week has now broken her silence after going viral.

Olehla was seen trying his best not to look at Sabina Jaksova’s revealing outfit, leading to one person joking on social media: “The poor guy fought for his life”.

Speaking to The Sun after the clip spread like wildfire on social media, Sabina said: “I’m used to attention, because FK Viagem Usti nad Labem are one of the most followed clubs in the Czech Republic.

“People recognise me in my own country, and I am a popular presenter.

“But I was pleasantly surprised that it spread like this beyond our borders.”

She revealed Olehla’s wife “watches our interviews closely”, adding:

“I believe she was pleased this interview went viral.”

The reporter insists: “I don’t think I dress provocatively. Here in the Czech Republic, it’s normal for a woman to put on nice clothes and heels when she goes out and wants to look good.

“Entertainment is at the core of our marketing, and everything else is built around it. At Viagem, we believe football is like showbusiness.

“I understand it would make some people happy if I was covered up, but on the other hand, I’d disappoint a lot of people too.”

Sabina said she hopes to present with the Czech national team one day and revealed: “My partner Petr and my family are a huge support to me. We have a lovely relationship full of love.”

IndyCar Driver Jack Harvey Announces Cancer Diagnosis

British auto racing driver Jack Harvey has revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer in an emotional statement. The 33-year-old, who has competed in The IndyCar Series since 2017, took to Instagram to share the news.

“My entire career has been about fighting for what’s next,” Harvey wrote on his social media accounts. “The next opportunity. The next chance to prove myself. The next time I could get back in the car and show what I’m capable of.

“There have been moments where the path forward was obvious, and plenty when it wasn’t. I’ve had to earn opportunities, fight to keep them, and learn how to keep moving when things didn’t go the way I planned. But through it all, I’ve never stopped believing that there was something worth fighting for.

“Life has delivered a new fight to my doorstep. I have recently been diagnosed with cancer.

“My goals for 2027 have not changed,” he added. “I plan to be on the grid (with FOX) at St. Pete and strapped back into a race car this May in preparation for the Indianapolis 500. I am receiving excellent care and support from the team around me, my family, friends, DRR, FOX, IndyCar and many more.

“I’ve never backed away from a challenge in my life and this circumstance is no different. So… let’s fight.”

Among the big names that have shared messages of support include Mick Schumacher, Nyck De Vries and Alex Palou.

Kate Scott Savages Micah Richards Over Man City’s Charges

Micah Richards may have thought he’d escape talk of Manchester City being found guilty of 114 financial breaches by the Premier League as he prepared for a night of Champions League action. However, on CBS Sports, that was never going to be the case.

Presenter Kate Scott is often brutal with her introductions of the ex-England defender, who appears alongside Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher. She didn’t shy away from the elephant in the room.

Richards, who played for City from 2005 to 2015, was left speechless as Scott said: “Well, this is awkward, isn’t it? He already has less accolades than anybody else on set.

“For now, he is still a Premier League winner and an FA Cup winner, until he has to mail those medals back to somebody at Stoke or Manchester United.”

Big Update Emerges on Jamie Carragher Bankruptcy Fears Over Unpaid Tax Bill

In August 2026, it emerged that former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher was facing major financial issues. HMRC filed a petition at the High Court seeking to have the pundit declared bankrupt over an unpaid tax bill, with a statement reading:

“We take a supportive approach to dealing with customers who have tax debts and do everything we can to help those who engage with us to get out of debt, such as offering instalment plans. We only petition for bankruptcy as a last resort.”

Carragher then responded via a spokesperson who noted: “This is a private tax matter that should have been resolved sooner, and the appropriate steps are being taken today to settle it. It is understood that the matter will not proceed any further, and will be resolved imminently.”

It seems as though the player has indeed quickly moved to resolve the issue. In a key update, as per BBC News, the 48-year-old will not be made bankrupt as he has now settled the unpaid tax bill.

Kevin Hassan, on behalf of HMRC, told the hearing in London that the debt has been paid, although no figure was given in court. It was previously said to be in the region of £700,000 to £800,000.

Police Intervene Outside Anfield After Liverpool vs Man City

Police were forced to intervene in order to prevent a clash between Liverpool and Manchester City fans in tense scenes outside Anfield following Sunday’s Premier League clash.

Man City, playing their first fixture since an independent commission found them guilty on all 115 counts of financial rule breaches in the Premier League, blocked out the outside noise and recorded an impressive 3-0 away win thanks to goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki.

City have won all six of their opening 2026-27 Premier League fixtures and sit three points clear of second-placed Arsenal at the top of the table.

Police were on hand to help escort the travelling Man City fans into the away end at Anfield, but tensions threatened to spill over after the match.

Footage posted to X showed police spraying a substance at one supporter amid audible shouts of ‘F****** cheats’ and ‘Cheating b*******’. Watch the footage below:

Vinicius Junior Has Goal Disallowed and is Sent Off in Same Passage of Play

It’s fair to say Vinicius Junior has not enjoyed the best start to the 2026/27 season. His form has been so poor, in fact, that some have started to believe in a strange conspiracy about the Brazilian being replaced by a body double.

With that in mind, the Real Madrid ace would have been delighted when he scored to put his team 2-0 up against Villarreal. However, things took a sharp turn for the worse when VAR viewed the build-up to his goal.

Not only was the strike ruled out for a foul, but referee Isidro Díaz de Mera then decided to hand Vinicius a red card. Footage showed the winger yanking Villarreal’s Nathan Saliba’s hair as he raced forwards. With the intervention of VAR, the Brazilian wasn’t able to get away with it.

Madrid managed to hang on to a 1-0 win in the end, with Yan Diomande netting the winner.

Former Champions League Club Relegated to Sixth Tier

Bordeaux have been relegated to the sixth tier of French football, just weeks after being sold for one euro (85p).

The French club have endured a sad fall from grace after winning Ligue 1 in 2009. They have gone into administration twice since 2021, which saw them drop to the fourth tier of French football.

This summer, they were sanctioned for failing to provide the roughly 10 million euros needed for the 2025-2026 financial year as well as 2026-2027 and meet debt payments.

They were sold to Park Bench last month, with the US-based investment group agreeing to take on the remaining debt. Just weeks after the sale, they have now been unanimously approved to play in the top regional tier.

“Rebuilding can now begin,” Dominique Delport, the new president chosen by Park Bench, said to AFP after their demotion.
