Igor Tudor blasts Tottenham ‘lacked everything’ as boss responds over relegation prospects

Tottenham fell to another defeat in the Premier League, losing away at Fulham, despite attempting to make a late comeback at Craven Cottage in Igor Tudor’s second match in charge.

Tottenham interim boss Igor Tudor has blasted his team’s performance as it “lacked everything” in their defeat away at Fulham on Sunday afternoon. Spurs went behind after just seven minutes as Harry Wilson scored from close-range, despite Spurs protests for a push on Radu Dragusin.

That lead was later doubled by Alex Iwobi before half-time, with Tottenham fans booing the team off at the break. There was a response after the hour mark as Richarlison popped up at the back post to head in an Archie Gray cross, but it wasn’t enough to claw back a point.

“We were not good, lacked everything,” Tudor told the press after the match on his side’s display. “Attacking and defending. Fulham were much better. There are problems here, big problems. We need to stay calm, believe in what we are doing in training, and get out, staying all together.

“These are not things to speak outside, we speak in the dressing room. The problems are more complex [than attitude and commitment] second half was better, but the first half was not enough.”
