As Eintracht Frankfurt gear up to face Werder Bremen tonight, Dino Toppmöller has confirmed three key players are fit while one will miss out.
“Nene Brown and Can Uzun have resumed training and will be in the squad tomorrow. Farès Chaibi is also back and part of the squad.
“Hugo Larsson will not be returning yet. Unfortunately, Mario Götze is out due to illness,” the Frankfurt coach said in his press conference.
As for the Hessen club’s injured summer signing Jonathan Burkardt, Toppmöller hopes a return will come soon enough.
“Jonny is on track, and we hope he can train with us again soon. Elias Baum is still dealing with his medial collateral ligament injury
“It will take a bit longer than with Jonny. Nevertheless, he is also making good progress,” the 45-year-old explained.
