FC Augsburg host Union Berlin in a rare Thursday night Bundesliga fixture. Manuel Baum started his second stint at the club with an incredible win over Bayer Leverkusen, but they have failed to score in their last three games, including in Sunday’s 4-0 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In contrast, Union Berlin picked up seven points in the same timeframe. After the game against Mainz where they came from two goals behind to salvage a point, Steffen Baumgart renewed his contract for an undisclosed period of time.
