Wolves midfielder Marshall Munetsi (29) is set to make a temporary return to Ligue 1 a year after leaving Stade de Reims. L’Equipe reports that the Zimbabwe international is set to join promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC on loan, barring any last-minute change of heart. Stéphane Gilli’s Parisiens were scouring the market for a physical box-to-box midfielder, and they seem to have found their man.
Munetsi is also set to benefit from a loan move abroad given his playing time has decreased following the appointment of Rob Edwards as Wolves head coach. It has been previously reported that several Ligue 1 clubs were interested in bringing Munetsi back to the top tier. Paris FC will face FC Nantes away this Sunday for a six-pointer in the race against relegation.
