Barcelona star accuses journalist of lies after Sevilla clash

Barcelona star Jules Koundé has taken to social media, to hit back at claims in the media regarding his current fitness status.

Defender Koundé of course sparked concern amongst those of a Blaugrana persuasion earlier today.

This came upon the Frenchman limping out of Barcelona’s 2-0 La Liga victory over Villarreal with what appeared to be a muscular injury.

Speaking to the press post-match, Hansi Flick was quick to assure that the complaint was little more than cramp.

Reports, though, nevertheless came to the fore online, suggesting that Koundé had suffered a hamstring injury which could see him forced to sit out the upcoming Spanish Super Cup.

Upon stumbling upon one such claim whilst scrolling ‘X’ on Sunday night, the former Sevilla man therefore took to the comments to clarify the situation.

Under a since-deleted post, Koundé unveiled a short clip of Pinocchio’s nose growing, insinuating lies on the part of the journalist in question:
