The 27-year-old captain of the Saxony club will see his release clause drop below €40m at the end of the current season.

Some interesting details regarding RB Leipzig defender David Raum’s has a release clause emerged this evening.
According to the latest update from Sky Germany, Raum’s price tag will drop to below €40million in the summer of 2026.
Leipzig would like to extend the 27-year-old’s contract, but no concrete talks have yet taken place with the player’s representatives.
Raum himself feels very comfortable in the Saxon state capital and in his new role and is focused on his contribution to the team.
“I feel very comfortable here, also in my new role. I now have a lot of responsibility and also feel a lot of appreciation, which does me good.
“What’s important is that I stay healthy, that I fulfill my role well, that I perform, that we deliver on the pitch – everything else will come in its own time,” he told Sky.
