Leverkusen hope Adli can return this week

Amine Adli has been out since August with a broken collarbone, but per ‘kicker’, the company club believe there’s a good chance he can return against Bayern on Friday.

According to ‘kicker’ information, if all goes well with Amine Adli’s X-rays on Monday, he could return to face Bayern this week. It’s been a difficult year for Adli, who ruptured a tendon in his thigh in March along with his broken collarbone suffered against Augsburg in August.

Trainer Gerardo Seoane stated that, “Amine has already done a lot in the last two or three weeks because the injury has not prevented him from doing so. He hopes that he can help the team again relatively promptly.”

Karim Bellarabi is still at least a week away from returning to the pitch, while there’s a chance Florian Wirtz comes back in October. There is no concern for both Patrik Schick and Sardar Azmoun after suffering injuries with their international teams last week.
