VfL Wolfsburg remain on the lookout for a replacement for Sebastian Schindzielorz, who was sacked as sporting director earlier this month.
Sebastian Kehl, currently Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, has been linked to the role and addressed the speculation in an interview with Sky on Saturday.
“First of all, the interest confirms the good work we’re doing at BVB,” Kehl said.
“There have been no talks, so I haven’t given it any thought,” he added.
Therefore, Kehl remains fully focused on Borussia Dortmund, who he believes delivered a “really good away performance” in their 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
“We set ourselves several goals and managed to achieve many of them. Hopefully, this will put an end to the discussions about us not being able to beat the big teams,” Kehl said.
