Inter are looking at a new name in attack which will most likely be a profile different to what they already have. Most of Inter’s attack has been centred around strikers – Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Pio Esposito and Ange Yoan Bonny. As per the latest rumours though, they could potentially be in the market for a wide threat.
As per a report from Bild (via calciomercato.com), Inter are tracking Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi. His contract with the German club is till the summer of 2027. He arrived to Dortmund in the summer of 2022 from Austrian club Salzburg for €30 million, and has so far scored 29 goals and provided 22 assists in 121 appearances for the club.
Interestingly, Napoli and Juventus have tried in the past to bring the German attacker to the Serie A. When asked about a potential deal, Inter president Beppe Marotta also dodged the question. It remains to be seen if something does transpire regarding this in the January transfer window.
