Andrew Tate Says Chase DeMoor ‘Should Win’ Their Misfits Boxing Fight — Here’s Why

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has conceded that, on paper, his opponent on the 20th of December, Chase DeMoor, “should win” when they come to blows atop a Misfits Boxing card in Dubai.

A former kickboxer, Tate shook up the crossover boxing scene when he announced that he’d ousted KSI from Misfits and taken over as, what he called, “combat executive officer.” It’s unclear if this is legit or kayfabe to sell a 2026 storyline in which KSI returns to the company to fight Tate. Regardless, what is certain, is that the podcaster and vlogger is taking his preparations so seriously he’s already ripped, and sporting a black eye from grueling sparring sessions.

It appears, though, that his motivation to train so hard is to level the playing field as he believes DeMoor has numerous physical advantages over him, and should be considered the favorite.

“I’m naturally muscular — more muscular than him. He’s a full-grown man wanting to punch me in the face. I take him seriously, as seriously as other opponents I’ve fought,” said Tate this week.

“He’s taller, more active, and younger than me. He’s the champion. On paper, he should win.”

He continued: “So I’m taking this seriously. I don’t underestimate him. I know he underestimates me. He’s overconfident. It’s why he’s going to lose. It’ll be his downfall, and he won’t see it coming.”

In the same interview, Tate also said this is the “first time I’ve ever done a training camp in my career as a billionaire, nutrition, IVs, best diet, best coaches, sleep, recovery, best cars, house, and women.”

It remains to be seen if that is enough to get the win in the Misfits title fight but, if it is, bigger fights will no doubt present themselves to Tate as, despite his divisive nature, he’s one of the most popular and accomplished fighters that Mams Taylor has recruited. Tate has said before that he’d like to compete up to 10 times in 2026, and could match-up well against the likes of KSI, Darren Till, or even Jake Paul, who fights Anthony Joshua on the same night, at a separate event, inside the Kaseya Center in Miami.
