The Germany National Team has managed to climb one spot in the newly updated FIFA world rankings charts.
Updated as of Wednesday 19 November, the side under the tutelage of Julian Nagelsmann has risen from tenth to ninth place overall.
That outcome demonstrates a steady rise in the DFB-elf’s progress over the last two years, having skipped seven places in that time.
Germany managed to rise from 16th-place in 2023 to 10th-place in 2024 and now their latest jump sees them claim 9th-place in 2025.
As things stand, Spain (1877.18) continue to rank first ahead of world champions Argentina (1873.33) and third place France (1870).
England (1834.12), Brazil (1760.46), Portugal (1760.38), Netherlands (1756.27), Belgium (1730.71), Germany (1724.15) and Croatia (1716.88) complete the top ten in order.
