Bukayo Saka (24) has reached an agreement in principle over a contract extension with Arsenal FC, according to report from RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins. The England international winger will commit his future with his formative club with a long-term contract set to expire in 2030. Saka will therefore spend his peak years with Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, who currently sit top of the Premier League. RMC Sport understands that talks between Saka and the London side have now reached the closing stages.
Saka would be the second key member of Arteta’s squad to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium this season, following in the footsteps of France international centre-back William Saliba. The outlet adds that both Saka and Arsenal are confident over the outcome of their contract extension talks. Saka is expected to put pen to paper in the coming weeks.
