Barcelona are interested in signing Brazilian wonderkid Endrick Felipe from Palmeiras, report Sport.
The player’s agents travelled from São Paulo to Barcelona to enter talks with the Blaugrana. During the talks, Barcelona’s management told Endrick’s representatives that they identified the striker as one of their top targets in the Brazilian market.
The 16-year-old was on the bench for Palmeiras’ match against Santos last weekend and is yet to make his debut for the senior side.
While the player’s release clause is unknown, it is predicted to be in the region of €32m, which was the valuation of Gabriel Jesus, who played for Palmeiras before being purchased by Manchester City.
Due to their current financial situation, it is very unlikely that Barcelona would make a serious move for Endrick before next summer. Due to his young age, he would not arrive in Europe until the summer of 2024, when he would turn 18.
