A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has made clear his bemusement with the final ranking of teammate Pedri in this year’s voting for the Ballon d’Or.
The annual ‘Golden Ball’ ceremony of course took place in France’s capital of Paris on Monday evening.
The event saw world football’s standout performers convene at The Théâtre du Châtelet, to see their efforts over the last 12 months recognised.
When all was said and done, it was Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ousmane Dembélé who scooped the Ballon d’Or, ahead of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
It was the place of another member of Hansi Flick’s squad, namely Pedri, though, which left Ferran Torres nothing short of shocked.
Midfielder Pedri, in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular spell of form at present, did not even manage to crack the top-10 in Ballon d’Or voting, finishing 11th.
And teammate and close friend Ferran was not shy in making his feelings with as much known, taking to his official Instagram account to unveil the following post:
