Christopher Baumgartner is in no rush to leave Hoffenheim despite reports linking him with bigger clubs.
The Austrian midfielder told Laola1.tv:
“Friends or acquaintances keep saying: ‘You have to go now, you have to go now…’
“But I don’t see it as a must, because I’m at a club that may not be at the top, but in the upper half of the table after all. If I stay for another year or two, I can make steps there as well.”
However, the 22-year-old does not entirely rule out a departure from Sinsheim this summer.
“If something really comes along that is concrete and interesting, I will definitely give it some thought.”
The Austrian international has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Sevilla in the past.
