
Southampton have signed Leo Scienza from Heidenheim.
1. FC Heidenheim have bid farewell to Leo Scienza, who has completed a permanent move to Southampton.
The English club have reportedly paid a fee of around €8–10 million for the 26-year-old Brazilian winger.
“Playing in the Bundesliga was a big dream that I was able to fulfill here. At Heidenheim, I experienced many unforgettable moments, above all my goal in the relegation, which was something very special for the whole club and personally for me,” said Scienza.
“I am very grateful to my teammates, the coaching staff, the entire club, and our fans for the time we shared. I will always remember Heidenheim fondly,” he added.
Scienza scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 40 appearances for Heidenheim.
