Borussia Dortmund’s recruit will be introduced to the fans today, but he’ll have to wait for his debut appearance.
Borussia Dortmund included new signings Aarón Anselmino and Carney Chukwuemeka on their matchday squad for the first home game of the season, but Fábio Silva will not be available for selection. The Portuguese attacker has muscular problems, which could keep him out for a couple of weeks.
According to Sky’s info, BVB knew about the injury before completing the transfer. However, Fábio Silva will be introduced to the Westfalenstadion faithful ahead of kickoff against Union Berlin.
Dortmund started their season with a 3-3 draw in St. Pauli last week. Niko Kovac saw his club add depth during the week with the transfers of the three players.
