In contrast to Bild, Kicker reports that VfB Stuttgart are trying to extend Sven Mislintat’s contract as sporting director.
In a recent article, Bild claimed that Sven Mislintat’s job security as Stuttgart sporting director is under pressure and that the 49-year-old’s contract may not be extended.
According to Kicker, however, Stuttgart are planning to open talks with Mislintat in the near future over the possibility of extending his contract, which expires in 2023.
Per the report, the club bosses “appreciate and honor” the work of the sporting director.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal head of scouting has worked for Stuttgart since 2019.
