Olympique de Marseille today found out their opponents for the League Phase of the UEFA Champions League, but the ongoing question surrounding Adrien Rabiot (30) is still predominant in the minds of all in the Provence region. Club president Pablo Longoria has today opened the door to a return for the Frenchman following the Champions League draw which took place in Monaco.
“We must be very clear. My office door is always open – for Adrien Rabiot as for all the other players,” said Longoria in an interview with Canal+. “We can talk calmly. The most important thing is to speak as adults and have a sincere discussion. I repeat, my door is open for all players under contract with Olympique de Marseille, Adrien Rabiot included.”
The French international has been sidelined since his altercation with Jonathan Rowe in the dressing room after OM’s opening day defeat to Rennes. Roberto De Zerbi has already spoken publicly about his willingness to reintegrate the France international, and now the club’s president is following suite.
