According to Deich Stube, Werder Bremen are interested in 21-year-old Derby County left-back Lee Buchanan.
Buchanan played an integral part in Derby’s season having featured over 30 times in the league but couldn’t help them escape relegation after the club was deducted 21 points.
With relegation to the third division and an expiring contract, Buchanan has been of interest to not only Bremen but also Celtic and Nottingham Forest.
However, it’s also been reported in England that the two-time England U21 international may have agreed to a contract extension with Derby which would make a possible transfer more difficult for the recently-promoted Bundesliga side.
