Stade de Reims forward Mamadou Diakhon (19) is the subject of interest from Belgian side Club Brugge, according to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter.
Diakhon made 35 appearances for Reims in all competitions last season, netting three goals and registering two assists in the process. However, it is a season that ended in relegation to Ligue 2, despite a run to the final of the Coupe de France.
As a result of the relegation, Reims will be obliged to sell some of their most bankable assets this summer, including Diakhon. Sacha Tavolieri has previously evoked an interest from Eintracht Frankfurt, going so far as to state that the player had already agreed to move to the Bundesliga side.
However, Toubache-Ter now understands that the France youth international is now being targeted by Belgian giants Club Brugge. The chances of the forward departing his formative club this summer, therefore, have increased further.
