Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso is a man in demand this window. Liverpool and Manchester City were heavily interested in him earlier but they moved on to different targets. But the list of suitors does not end there. Milan and Atletico Madrid have been prying and now as per tuttojuve.com, Premier League club Nottingham Forest have joined the race.
Juventus want to keep Cambiaso, without any shred of doubt. According to recent reports, manager Igor Tudor considers him to be one of the players to build the squad around. That is understandable given that Cambiaso is an excellent full-back, equally adept in and out of possession and with the ability of playing on either side. Juventus want to renew him and it does seem like the Italian wants to stay. However, if a big offer comes in, given the Bianconeri’s need to strengthen in a number of positions, they could find refusing it difficult.
As for Forest, they have the additional demand of the UEFA Conference League this season and thus need more depth. They have shown over the last few years that they are not averse to a large number of signings in the same window.
