kicker and Sky Germany both report that, if it becomes an option, Bayer Leverkusen would be interested in including a player in a prospective Florian Wirtz deal.
Negotiations between Liverpool and Leverkusen are still ongoing over the transfer of Florian Wirtz to the Premier League champions. With a second bid being rejected by die Werkself, the prospect of including a player going the other way is becoming an option.
Leverkusen are said to be like Elliott, who fits the profile of a player who can replace Wirtz. However, a move for the English youth international or his teammate Jarell Quansah will be difficult to realise as both can garner interest from the Premier League, and it is unlikely that they would then be interested in moving to the Bundesliga.
Earlier today, the Bundesliga side rejected a bid worth €135m, as they are still demanding €150m. A potential move is not in jeopardy, and a solution would likely be reached eventually.
