Borussia Dortmund are focused on signing Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham, according to Sky Sport Germany.
Dortmund have had an underwhelming campaign and must strengthen their squad this summer.
Jobe is the younger brother of Jude Bellingham, who made a name for himself at Dortmund before joining Real Madrid.
His younger brother is eager to follow the same path. Jobe has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Sunderland in the Championship.
Dortmund could be making a misstep with Bellingham move
The Sunderland midfielder has bagged four goals and three assists this season.
His flexibility in midfield makes him an attractive proposition from a development perspective, but it is debatable whether he is ready for the Bundesliga.
Bellingham has been anonymous during the latter part of the season as Sunderland stumbled into the play-offs on the back of a five-game losing streak.
He is reportedly keen on playing in the Champions League next season, which suggests he has ideas above his station.
The 19-year-old is not a patch on his more talented brother and needs to lower his sights. The Championship is his level at the moment.
