Bild recently reported on their podcast ‘Bayern Insider’ that Bayern Munich had reached an agreement to extend Leroy Sané’s expiring contract.
However, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl dismissed the claim following the club’s 3-0 win over Mainz on Saturday.
“What’s being reported isn’t true,” he told Ran.
“We haven’t reached an agreement, and no contract has been signed. But it’s no secret that we’re in talks. We’ll see what happens.”
Sané’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old winger scored his tenth league goal of the season in Satruday’s 3-0 win over Mainz.
