Hertha BSC full-back Fredrik Bjørkan has joined Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord on a loan deal until the rest of the season.
“We were open with Fredrik about his situation at the club and we came to the conclusion together that a change is the best thing for his development right now,” commented Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic.
“The most important thing is game time, and he should get that at Feyenoord,” added the Hertha boss.
Bjørkan signed for Hertha in January and has made 10 appearances for the Berlin outfit.
