Two former members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona linked up to net a wonderful goal in MLS this week.
The pair in question? Lionel Messi, and Luis Suárez.
Both Messi and Suárez are of course currently plying their club trade in the USA, with David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
In the early hours of Wednesday, the South American duo were in from the off once more, as Inter played host to Sporting KC in the Concacaf Champions Cup.
And, en route to an eventual 3-1 triumph, Messi and Suárez were both on target.
The former’s goal proved a particularly pleasing one on the eye, after partner-in-crime Suárez picked him out courtesy of a clever pass to the edge of the penalty area.
From here, Messi took the ball down on his chest, before directing an unstoppable half volley into the near corner.
