Elsewhere, Barcelona are set to face off with Portuguese side Benfica, with a trip to Lisbon for the first leg.
This isn’t the first time the two Madrid rivals have faced off in European competition, with the most notable clash being the 2014 final, which saw Real come out 4-1 winners after extra time.
Meanwhile, Barcelona last played Benfica in the 2021/22 group stage, when they fell to a 3-0 loss before drawing 0-0 the second time round.
Hansi Flick ewill be hoping for a better outing from his players this time around, as Barcelona have come a long way since 2021.
The Madrid derby is likely going to be the clash of the round, with many people eagerly tuning in to see who can come out on top between Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone’s sides.
