We are just two months into 2025 and it already looks set to be one of the best years for the sport of boxing in a very long time. Some huge fights have already been made official or are in the works for 2025, such as Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, the huge rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, as well as the huge all-British clash which will go down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 26th of April between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.
Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn’s rivalry is one of the best and most intense in British boxing history and almost 35 years down the line from the first iconic fight between Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, the two’s sons will go head-to-head in a bout which will be just as, if not more personal. Ahead of the highly anticipated bout, Conor’s father, Nigel, spoke with Vision4Sport, where premium tickets for the fight are available for purchase on their website, and went into detail about his son’s motivation heading into the fight.

Conor Benn Wants to “Destroy” Chris Eubank Jr
Conor’s father, Nigel, has revealed his son is as motivated as ever heading into the fight
According to Conor Benn’s father, Nigel, his son is “on a mission” to defeat Chris Eubank Jr, and he is extremely motivated and “wants to destroy” him in the huge all-British fight in April.
The British boxing great spoke to Vision4Sport, where premium tickets for the fight are available for purchase on their website, and said the following:
“He’s on a mission. There’s a lot of things Junior has said about Conor, things that were untrue. And Conor holds on to that. You don’t need to add any fuel to this fire – it’s already burning. It’s not about hate. Let’s get that straight. But Conor wants to destroy him.”
With the history and rivalry between the Eubank and Benn families, the fight promises to be an all-action affair and could be one of the best fights of the year, however, Nigel is very relaxed and composed heading into the fight and has reiterated his confidence in his son.
Again, speaking to Vision4Sport, Benn revealed that his son will be “a powerful destroyer” in the fight.
“You know what? I’m not worried one bit, not in the slightest. I know my son’s capabilities. People act like he’s going up against a Canelo or a Crawford, it’s not that. We’re going to see a powerful destroyer in that ring.”
Chris Eubank Jr is an extremely experienced and composed fighter, so if Conor Benn is able to go in there with the lights shining bright in April and steamroll his way through the fight, he will solidify himself as a force to be taken seriously.
