Barcelona star Gavi was put through his paces in training away from the rest of the club’s squad on Wednesday.
This comes amid ongoing caution when it comes to the wellbeing of the midfield starlet.
Gavi, for his part, was forced into a premature departure from Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés at the weekend.
This came owing to a nasty clash of heads, which left the Spanish international completely disoriented.
Gavi was subsequently taken to hospital for a round of medical checks, but after being given the all-clear, returned to Barca’s training base on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old was put through a personalised programme inside the facilities at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Gavi took a further step forward in his recovery on Wednesday morning, in being given the green light to take his place back on the grass.
But he was again forced to train away from the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad, ahead of tomorrow night’s Copa del Rey quarter-final meeting with Valencia.
