KSI Willing to Fight Conor McGregor as Logan Paul Moves on

KSI appears willing to step in and fight Conor McGregor in a boxing-rules environment, as crossover rival Logan Paul moves on from the rumored — albeit unlikely — $500 million exhibition involving McGregor and Paul.

The Ambani family in India, which has a wealth of $44.8 billion according to Forbes, were intending to finance the unofficial event, according to the former two-weight UFC champ McGregor. Nobody from the Ambani family, though, ever confirmed they plan to provide funds. McGregor continued to amplify the exhibition through his social media account on X, particularly as speculation ran rampant regarding the purses involved as some posts claimed each athlete was going to bank a whopping $250 million.

The bout always seemed unlikely, especially due to Paul’s status and commitments to world-leading professional wrestling firm WWE. Paul’s former rival KSI could, in theory, replace him, however.

Conor McGregor’s Value Nowhere Near $250 Million, Expert Says

A UFC icon has again ripped into what he called the Conor McGregor vs Logan Paul ‘scam.’

KSI Hints he’d Happily Fight Conor McGregor in Boxing

McGregor has not fought since 2021, when a nasty leg break led to a first-round doctor’s stoppage in a lightweight fight against UFC icon Dustin Poirier. He had a summer fight in 2024 booked with Michael Chandler, but withdrew from the MMA contest citing a broken pinky toe.

Though McGregor has expressed interest in fighting in the UFC since then, there has been little movement to re-book that Chandler bout, or organize an alternative one.

Despite the above, an exhibition involving Paul always seemed like a curveball, but if the Paul bout has well and truly been a non-starter, KSI said he’d save any prospective show by taking on McGregor himself.

KSI’s comment follows one from Paul in which he appeared to fully commit to WWE, which held its debut on Netflix as Monday’s ‘Raw’ event set records for biggest gate.

“I’ve been so good at this [professional wrestling],” said Logan Paul. “Now, I’m dedicating my life to this. No more side hustle, no more bull-s***. 100% WWE.”

McGregor is yet to comment but even if he were interested, he’d need UFC to sign off on the bout as he remains contracted to the world’s leading MMA firm for two further fights. Unless he re-signs, he’d be a free agent after that point.
