Bild reports that Bochum are interested in bringing former Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Christoph Kramer back to the club.
Kramer had his contract terminated at Gladbach in the summer and has been without a club since. Bochum are looking at players who could immediately improve their squad as they look to defy the odds and survive relegation this season. However, before a potential return of Kramer can be an option, another midfielder at the club must leave.
The 33 year old was loaned to Bochum in the 2012/13 season from Bayer Leverkusen, whilst he also played under current bochum head coach Dieter Hecking when he was head coach of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The midfielder has kept his fitness in the past six months without a club and even competed in the Socca World Cup for Germany
Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Florian Neuhaus was also a candidate to move to the Ruhrstadion on loan but they could not afford the move.
