Tanguy Nianzou is off to Sevilla

By Jonathan Dicks

Sevilla have confirmed the signing of Bayern center-back Tanguy Nianzou on a permanent deal.

La Liga side Sevilla have completed the deal of Bayern defender Tanguy Nianzou for €20 million. Bayern are given priority to re-sign the 20-year-old and also have a sell-on clause included in the contract.

After making 22 appearances last season for the Bavarian club, the Frenchman now signs on for a five-year deal. Nianzou was competing amidst a logjam of Bayern center-backs which included the likes of Hernandez, Upamecano, Pavard and de Ligt. He’ll be looking for more playing time at his new Champions League club.
