UEFA have confirmed that the winner of Germany and Italy’s Nations League quarter-final in March will host the finals in the summer.
If Germany beats Italy in the two-legged quarter-final then the semi-finals and final will be held in Stuttgart and Munich in the summer. Germany plays Italy on the 20th of March in the first leg before then three days later playing the return leg in Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.
The semi-finals of the Nations League will take place on the fourth and fifth of June and the final will be played on the eighth of June. It has previously been reported that the Allianz Arena will host the final and one of the semi-finals while the MHP Arena in Stuttgart will host the other semi-final and the third-place playoff.
If Italy win then the mini-tournament will be played in Turin at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium and Torino’s Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
Germany was the host of the last edition of the European Championships, which from a fan point of view was very successful due to the ease of moving between stadiums and transportation (unless you are in Gelsenkirchen).
