Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has revealed his opinion that the overall display put forth by he and his teammates in the club’s meeting with Leganés was a good one.
Barca, of course, are fresh off an evening to forget on Sunday.
After welcoming the aforementioned Leganés to Catalunya for a La Liga clash, Hansi Flick’s troops were ultimately condemned to the wrong side of a 1-0 result.
This came owing to a solitary Sergio González strike, inside the opening five minutes of proceedings.
Barcelona, from here, dominated possession, carving out a whole host of presentable goalscoring opportunities, too.
In the end, however, the ball simply wouldn’t go in.
And one individual, as alluded to above, who feels that his side were unlucky to ultimately slip to defeat as a result comes in the form of Alejandro Balde.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of last night’s matchup, defender Balde explained:
“I don’t think we played badly. We played well, but we couldn’t finish our chances. We could have killed the match earlier. It happens.”
