Bard joins an extremely lengthy list of players in the Nice medical bay with Dante, Jeremie Boga, Jonathan Clauss, Ali Abdi, Antoine Mendy, Morgan Sanson, Victor Orakpo, Terem Moffi, and Youssouf Ndayishimiye all out injured.
Bard during the past two seasons has become a key player for the southern side. His performances have sometimes come under question but he has proven himself to be invaluable to Lucien Favre, Didier Digard, Francesco Farioli, and now Franck Haise.
Nice are now without either their first or second-choice left-back with Abdi also out injured after he picked up a problem during the most recent international break with Tunisia.
