A leading member of the attacking ranks at Real Betis achieved a faster sprint speed than any other player across Europe’s top-5 leagues this season.
That’s according to TransferRoom, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Ez Abde as the player in question.
Wide-man Abde for his part managed a top speed of 35.5km/h earlier this season, good enough to secure for the Moroccan the title of the continent’s fastest player thus far in 2024/25.
2nd on the list comes Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, who recorded a speed of 35.3km/h.
And rounding out the podium places is another La Liga star, namely Rayo Vallecano Andrei Rațiu, who clocked in at 35.1km/h.
