When Germany take on Hungary in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday, it will be a much-changed side from the one that beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 7-0 on Saturday.
With Germany certain to finish top of Group A3, Nagelsmann confirmed on Monday that he’s planning to rotate heavily.
“As things stand today, there will be a lot of changes,” said Nagelsmann at his pre-match press conference.
“We are also taking the clubs into account a little. Maybe we’ll make 9-10 changes, maybe it’ll be just four. We’ll decide after the final training session.”
Nagelsmann already confirmed last week that Alexander Nübel will be in goal, after Oliver Baumann was between the sticks against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Jonathan Tah will also certainly drop out of the starting eleven as he’s suspended, with Nico Schlotterbeck in line to replace him.
