Sport Bild reports that there are growing doubts about RB Leipzig head coach Marco Rose amid the club’s recent poor form.
After a strong start to their Bundesliga season, Leipzig are currently winless in three games after poor performances against Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the league as well as Celtic in the Champions League.
It is said that the players are no longer able to implement Rose’s game plan properly and the side have also struggled after the injury to Xavi Simons. On top of this, the Leipzig native’s appearances on TV have caused irritation due to his tendency to make excuses for the poor performances whilst also starting regularly minor arguments with the reporters.
The arrival of Jürgen Klopp in the new year may help Rose as the former Liverpool and Dortmund head coach was his boss when Rose was a player at Mainz. This could mean that Klopp could become a greater mentor to Rose as he begins his role as Red Bull’s Global Head of Soccer.
