AS Monaco could welcome back two important players when they face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Saturday. Ahead of the fixture, Denis Zakaria and Mohammed Salisu are expected back in training.
Zakaria has missed the last three matches for Les Monégasques, which has coincided with a dip in form for Monaco. However, he has been called up by the Swiss national team and he could now feature against Strasbourg. Adi Hütter has confirmed that Zakaria, as well as Salisu will both train on Friday, confirming that both could be in line to feature in the matchday squad.
Folarin Balogun won’t be included in Monaco’s matchday squad to face Les Alsaciens, although Hütter confirmed that the USMNT forward is nearing a return. However, the former Arsenal striker, who dislocated his shoulder against Stade Rennais last month, is still being protected from contacts in training. The hope is that he will return the other side of the international break.
