Bild reports that Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have all had scouts in recent weeks watching Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens.
After a stop-start time under previous head coach Edin Terzic due to injuries and now breaking into the starting 11, Gittens has earned more game time under successor Nuri Sahin and is said to be continuously working on his effectiveness, decision making and finishing in training.
The 20-year-old has shown similar qualities to Jadon Sancho when he first moved to the Signal Iduna Park from Manchester City, just like Gittens. Dortmund continue to have hope that Gittens, despite his injuries, can reach a similar level to his countrymen.
Dortmund are also said to have high hopes for fellow winger Julien Duranville, who has also struggled with injuries since he moved to Germany from Anderlecht in 2023. The 18-year-old’s main contribution to Dortmund so far has been his cameo in their fateful 2-2 draw with Mainz on the final day of the 22/23 season which ultimately cost them the Bundesliga title.
