Former Germany coach Joachim Löw has opened up about a possible return to the dugout.
Joachim Löw has been out of work since stepping down as Germany coach after the 2021 European Championship.
And as he revealed at Lukas Podolski’s farewell match in Köln on Thursday night, a return to coaching is not imminent.
“There have always been inquiries,” the 64-year-old said, but added that he has to be really “passionate” about a job to accept it.
“It’s not that easy to take over another national team just like that.
“It’s possible that at some point I’ll say that I’m excited about a particular job. And then I’ll be highly motivated again,” he said.
The 64-year-old coached Germany for 15 years and led the team to World Cup glory in 2014.
