Reports claim that Mergim Berisha will not be in Hoffenheim’s squad to face Dynamo Kyiv in the Europa League for disciplinary reasons.
Mergim Berisha will not be involved when Hoffenheim lock horns with Dynamo Kyiv in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
This is according to Kicker and Ligainside, who claim that the striker has been dropped from the squad for disciplinary reasons.
Berisha was visibly upset after being substituted early following Hoffenheim’s red card against Werder Bremen at the weekend.
The 26-year-old reportedly clashed with Matarazzo in the dressing room on Sunday, and there have been further altercations in training in the days since.
As a result, Berisha has now received a warning from his coach and will not feature on Thursday.
It remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old will be back in the Hoffenheim squad for Sunday’s trip to Stuttgart.
