Whilst talks to extend Marcin Bulka’s (24) deal have arrived at a dead end, OGC Nice are expecting a more positive conclusion from talks with Badredine Bouanani (19).
Bouanani started in Le Gym’s 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday, a sign of the Algeria international’s growing stature at the club. He has already made six appearances for Nice this season, including two starts. That comes after a loan spell at FC Lorient last season, during which he made 11 appearances, scoring once.
The winger has over two years remaining on his deal, however, Les Aiglons are looking to extend his contract for a further two years, which would tie him to the club until 2029. L’Équipe understands that talks between the club and the player are very close to reaching a positive conclusion, although a deal between the two parties has not yet been struck.
