Kicker is reporting that Benfica are thinking about sending Julian Weigl out on loan amid reported interest from a number of clubs, including Gladbach.

Julian Weigl could leave SL Benfica this month after slipping down the pecking order at the Portuguese Primeira Liga club.
According to Kicker, Benfica are considering sending the 26-year-old German midfielder out on loan.
This could increase the chance of signing Weigl for some of the interested clubs, such as Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Weigl was on the bench for 90 minutes as Benfica beat FC Midtjylland 4-1 in a Champions League qualifier.
He then came on for 27 minutes in his side’s 4-0 Primeira Liga win over Arouca.
